IT consulting for business
This page is not selling a digital transformation. It is selling something much more specific: a technical person who looks at what you already have, tells you what is sound, what is not, and in which order they would fix it — and who earns no commission from any manufacturer for the recommendation.
The problem
When people ask for a second opinion
- You have a quote on the table and no idea whether the price and the scope are reasonable
- Your current provider is proposing a big change and there is nobody to sanity-check it with
- You have inherited an infrastructure with no documentation and no clarity on what is being paid for
- You are about to grow, open a site or double headcount, and want to know what will cope
- You suspect you are paying for licences or services nobody uses
- You are about to change IT provider and want to know what you are getting before signing
Scope
What is in, and what is not.
What you get
- An inventory of machines, licences and contracted services, with their cost
- A review of the real state: what is out of support, what is misconfigured, what is unprotected
- Risks ranked by impact, not by how eye-catching they are
- A plan by priority with estimated costs, separating the urgent from the important from the skippable
- A sanity-check of a third-party quote, if that is what you need
- A document you can read without being technical, and use to decide
How the conflict of interest is avoided
- The audit can be bought on its own, with no obligation for whoever wrote it to carry it out
- If the conclusion is that what you have is fine, that is the conclusion. It has happened
- We take no commission from any manufacturer for recommending their product
- We do not write three-year strategic plans with diagrams: the deliverable is a list of things that can be done
Service area
Scope
The audit can be done almost entirely remotely, with read access to the systems and one or two meetings. It is available to companies anywhere in Spain.
If physical installations have to be reviewed —rack, cabling, network— the usual Baix Llobregat and Barcelona area applies.
Questions
Frequently asked questions.
- What does an audit cost?
- It depends on the size of the installation, and it is quoted as a fixed price before we start: it is not billed as open hours. You know what you are paying before you commission it.
- Do we have to tell our current provider?
- You don't have to. The review can be done with the information and access you hold yourself. If you would rather it were done with their knowledge and cooperation, that works too, and it is usually faster.
